About Jim Glaser
I’m Jimmy Glaser, the founder of Jim Glaser Law and Jimmy Knows Real Estate.
Born and raised in Sharon, MA, I owe my caring and driven nature to my wonderful parents. My father, a real estate lawyer, was my first introduction to the power of law in helping people, and I was inspired to follow in his footsteps.
Meanwhile, my mother was one of the first women in entrepreneurial banking in our region and the first woman to serve as head of the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association. My first job was in her mortgage banking business, where I learned the ropes of professionalism and the financial world.
After achieving my undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis, I graduated from New England Law in Boston and was admitted to the Massachusetts State Bar in 1995. Jim Glaser Law was founded in 2011, and I’ve dedicated my career to providing excellent counsel for my clients ever since.
Early in my career, I had offered a job in the family mortgage banking business to a friend seeking better opportunities. Tragically, he was paralyzed in an accident with an MBTA van on his way to our meeting. This incident became my first real legal case, pushing me to fight for justice on his behalf. Despite the complexities, we secured one of the largest settlements in Massachusetts at that time. The experience solidified my resolve to stand up for others through law.
In an effort to help injured individuals find reliable legal assistance when they are unsure where to turn, I have also founded The Dial A Lawyer Network—a trusted network of personal injury lawyers across all 50 states.
I have been honored to be recognized on The National Trial Lawyers’ A-List as one of the top 100 most influential advertising attorneys in the nation. This recognition is a testament to my relentless dedication to my practice and my clients.
I launched my most recent venture, Jimmy Knows Real Estate, with a mission to empower home sellers in the wake of the historic real estate settlement that decoupled real estate commissions. By providing clear, accessible information and connecting sellers with top-performing agents, the platform helps clients navigate the new landscape confidently—while saving thousands with commission rates as low as 2%.
Outside of the courtroom and the real estate world, I’m a family man. I have a loving wife and wonderful children who I love to spend time with. When I’m not working or spending time with my family, you can find me outdoors playing golf or attending any of Boston’s great sporting events.
